As many of you will know, Knowles Warwick are making our first foray into business conference territory with our upcoming event in Sheffield on March 21st. The Onwards and Upwards conference is aimed at business owners, entrepreneurs who want to take their business to the next level, or those who are thinking about starting their own business and are looking for ideas and advice on how to avoid becoming one of the dreaded quarter of all start-ups that fail within the first year. We are bringing together some of the UK’s leading businessmen and women to share the secret to their success, and better yet, explain how you can apply it to your own business.
We don’t want to steal their thunder but need to tell you how excited we are about having David Thomas who will show us how to maximise our personal skills for optimum professional performance. He will share with us his story of overcoming adversity in early life, how he set his mind on something and how that determination has rewarded him. David will also be showing us some techniques that have helped him and we guarantee you will enjoy testing his ability. We also have a renowned business trainer and NLP practitioner, Scott White, who will reinforce the importance of developing yourself and your workforce, which leads me to our Keynote speaker, Kate Hull Rodgers. Kate is an internationally acclaimed expert on Networking/relationships, Humour in the workplace and Powerful presentations. She travels the world sharing her pearls of wisdom, is a media presenter and a published author.
All this, plus some valuable, strategic business advice from our MD Steve Knowles. We guarantee you will not only enjoy the day but you will come away feeling inspired to utilise some of the tips and techniques we share with you.
All sound good so far?
Well, in addition to these inspiring men and women who will be regaling you with tales of their successes and challenges, we will also be gathering a whole host of local businesses and institutions together who will be key contacts for your business, no matter what industry you are in. For example, we have invited a local conference centre to join us and shout loud about their fantastic city centre facilities. We will also be graced by a representative from the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce who will be able to advise you about the amazing benefits of being a member (we at Knowles Warwick are members and can assure you, they are well worth the money!). And, of course, lunch and refreshments are included. Hopefully, that has peaked your interest and you’ll want to find out more about our event, so pop over to our Events page to check out the full agenda and reserve your place.
